Ways to improve the look of your garden

Raise the crown level

Removing the bottom branches of trees and shrubs improves tree shape, making them look "cleaner", and also promotes air circulation around the plant and allows other plants to be planted underneath. Branches that touch the ground or spoil the shape of the plant are removed or directed to grow in a different direction. Make sure your tools are sharp and leave a clean cut.

Upper part of the ground

Clean the top 5 cm of soil. Weeds, mosses and dead leaves should be removed. Then replace it with a layer of fresh compost or decorative mulch and then water the plants. If you come across any weed saplings or deeply rooted perennial weeds, use a thin spatula or garden knife to pull them out.

Clean up the patio

Use a patio weeding tool or even a pair of old, rusty pruning shears to clear moss and weeds from the tile spacing. After removing the debris, fill any gaps between the tiles with a mixture of three parts fine sand and one part cement and a little water to moisten the mixture. Spread the mixture over cracks and openings, then smooth the surface with a putty knife or a cut piece from an old hose.

Make a clear edge on lawns

Treat the edges of your lawns. To do this, make the desired outline using a cord or a garden hose. Next, use a shovel to separate the outer and inner parts of the contour. Then use a garden fork to clear the soil from the grass along the cut line. This will make trimming the edges easier in the future and give your lawn a cool look!

Get rid of old plants

Be ruthless if you have plants that are unable to actively grow. If you have old shrubs that do not have enough energy and are standing out negatively in your garden, dig them up. Replace these plants with new ones.

Open fire pit

There is nothing more pleasant than enjoying the sight of fire from a campfire in the evenings, albeit not entirely natural. In order to make it decorative, you will need a special gas burner of the required volume and a patio to form the fence and territory itself.

Decorative lighting and illumination

LED illumination from garlands and solar-powered lanterns will revive the site in the evening. You can hang garlands on the facade of the house and on the trees. Lanterns can be installed along the paths, creating an accent on them and providing ease of movement in the evening around the suburban area.
